Monarch Token Update – Aug 31, 2018:
The second quarter of 2018 has been an exciting time for Monarch Blockchain Corporation. They have secured an active broker dealer license, added industry titans to their team, and solidified partnerships that should give the Monarch Wallet millions of new users.
Two new advisors have joined the Monarch Team. The LinkedIn co-founder Eric Ly was the first addition to our advisory board. Ly grew the social networking behemoth from nothing but a whiteboard concept to an acquisition for $26.2 billion. The other addition is Enzo Villani, a partner at Transform PR, an agency that has launched projects such as EOS, Ethereum, NEO, Ripple, NEM, Dash, and many other top 50 tokens. Transform PR clients make up over 30% of the world’s cryptocurrency market cap.
Monarch’s Broker Dealer License
To stay SEC compliant, Monarch Blockchain Corporation has secured an active broker dealer license. This will enable the Monarch Exchange and instant conversions from crypto-to-fiat. Monarch will be able to handle large-volume OTC trades as well, given its active broker dealer license.
Monarch Wallet Updates
Over the past several months, Monarch has greatly improved the UX, UI, and functionality of the Monarch Wallet. With five full-time developers relentlessly working on building Monarch’s products, their key improvements were:
- Support of nearly 1,500 ERC20 compliant tokens
- Advanced settings support of ERC20 tokens, including custom tokens
- Improvement of the portfolio tracker on the application
- Added support for XRP (very few multi-currency wallets support XRP)
- Added two official partners in-app (XNK and SPN, Ink Protocol and Sapien, respectively)
- Crypto-to-USD conversion when sending tokens
Partnerships
The partnerships Monarch has cultivated are massively beneficial and will bring millions of users to their platform. For starters, Monarch will serve as the cold wallet storage and payment processor for Listia! (read the press release) Listia has over 10 million monthly active users. Just after this announcement, Monarch formed partnerships with both Blockchain Terminal and Genesis Vision to be their cold storage solution. Genesis Vision users will use Monarch’s recurring payments technology to make monthly contributions to ETFs and other funds. These are two highly regarded projects in 2018 that have beautiful design and functionality. All of their users will be required to use the Monarch Wallet for cold storage on their platforms.
Monarch added Sapien as a partnered token on the wallet, supporting their community of over 10,000 content creators that look to fight fake news in the cryptocurrency community (press release on Business Insider).
Massive Support From YouTube Community
As both Monarch co-founders have large influence in the cryptocurrency community through their own YouTube channels CryptoBeadles and Cryptosomniac, Monarch’s network of influencers has flooded the space with reviews and mentions. Monarch been mentioned or reviewed by Crypto Love, Cryptos R Us, Mike Michaels, BitBoy, Bitcoin for Beginners, The Cryptoniac, Crypto Crow, and many others. In Monarch’s mission to promote mass adoption for cryptocurrency, we need to have cryptocurrency in places it typically isn’t.
